Golden Radiance Village hosts the First Black Maternal Health Walk in New Haven, CT.
Founded by the Black Mamas Matter Alliance, Black Maternal Health Week is nationally recognized as a week of awareness for black maternal health. This year, in collaboration with Southern Connecticut State’s Public Health Department, GRV hosted the first Black Maternal Health Walk in New Haven. We intend to gather every 2nd week in April to celebrate black motherhood, bring awareness to our community, and champion improvement for black women and their families.
